  • Glacé fruit: 150 g
  • Vinegar: 1 tablespoon
  • Butter: 125 g
  • Caster sugar: 125 g
  • Eggs: 3
  • Plain flour: 250 g
  • Baking powder: 11 g
  • Salt: 1 pinch

  • Glacé fruit to decorate: 10 g

Line a 24 to 26 cm long loaf tin with buttered baking parchment.

Preheat the oven to 150°C.

Soak the raisins and glacé fruit in the vinegar.

Put the flour, baking powder, butter, sugar and eggs into the stainless steel bowl.

Fit the kneader and lid.

Run the appliance for 30 seconds on speed 1, then two and a half minutes on speed 5.

Sprinkle the fruit with a tablespoonful of flour, mix, and incorporate them into the mixture on speed 1 (around 30 seconds).

Pour into the loaf tin, put into the oven and leave to cook for around one hour and twenty minutes at 150°C.

Allow to cool. Remove the cake from the tin without removing the baking parchment and allow to rest for 24 hours before serving.
