Baked Chicken with Broccoli and Bechamel Sauce


For 4 people

  • ‎900g grilled chicken breasts‎
  • ‎400g pasta‎
  • ‎450g fresh broccoli‎
  • ‎125g cheddar cheese
  • To prepare the béchamel sauce:‎
  • ‎60g butter‎
  • ‎60g flour‎
  • ‎600 ml milk‎
  • ‎1 tsp salt‎
  • ‎1 tsp black pepper‎
  • To grease the pan:‎
  • ‎1 tbsp butter‎


Preheat the oven to 200⁰C. Grease a baking dish with butter.‎

Boil pasta until half cooked for 6 minutes. Drain well.‎ ِِAttach the chopper blade.‎

Chop the broccoli In a food processor, roughly. Remove from food processor and place in a large ‎bowl.‎

Fill a pot with water. When it starts to boil, add broccoli and cook for 2 minutes. Drain well.‎

Detach slicing blade from the food processor and attach the shredding blade.‎

Shred cheddar, then place in a bowl. Shred chicken breasts and place in a separate bowl.‎

To prepare the béchamel sauce: melt butter in a pot over medium heat. Gradually add flour until ‎combined. Whisk in milk until you get a smooth thick sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.‎

Remove béchamel sauce from heat. Add shredded chicken and mix well. Stir mixture into pasta.‎

Stir boiled broccoli into chicken mixture. Spread in a baking dish and top with cheddar.‎

Bake for 15-20 minutes until pasta and broccoli are cooked through and the top is golden. Serve hot. ‎
