FAQ

Always pour the liquid ingredients into the blender jug first, before adding the solid ingredients. Do not exceed the MAX limit marked on the jug.
For best results the food should be cut into cubes of 2 to 3 cm maximum before blending it.
No, do not put the bowl in a microwave oven.
Before using it for the first time, we recommend that you wash all the blender accessories in hot soapy water, taking care not to injure yourself with the blades, which are extremely sharp. It is not necessary to wash the body of the blender before use.
• For Easy Soup models ("creamed soup" program):
The device heats for 10 minutes to 100°C, then maintains the temperature for 10 minutes.
At the end of the program, the device mixes 5 times according to the following cycle: 20sec of mixing and 10sec of rest.

• For Daily Soup LM540 models ("smooth soup" program):
The device heats during 10min to 100°C, it makes 2 mixes of 5 sec after 11 and 15min, the device maintains the temperature at 100°C.
At the end of cooking, the device mixes 4 times according to the following cycle: 25sec of mixing and 10sec of rest, then mixes one last time during 17sec.

• For Daily Soup LM542 models ("smooth soup" program):
The device heats for 10min to 100°C, then maintains the temperature for 10min.
At the end of the program, the device mixes 5 times according to the following cycle: 20sec of mixing and 10sec of rest.
The device does not mix in this program, you can cut the vegetables at your convenience.
The cooking time is fixed:
• 25min for Easy Soup and Daily Soup LM542 models.
• 28min for Daily Soup LM540 models.
It is not advisable to open the device as programming may be lost.
Indeed, the motor unit which is the mastermind of the device is no longer powered when the device is opened (loss of programming data).
You can increase the quantities by taking care to respect the maximum level of the bowl.
The device is not recommended for making crushed ice. Do not use frozen products.
You can reduce the quantities by taking care to respect the minimum level of the bowl.
For soup programs, milk or cream should not be added at the beginning of the recipe.
It can be incorporated at the end of the program. Use the "blend" or "smoothie" function to mix without heating.
To remove white traces or "rainbow" coloration from the bottom of the bowl, follow these 3 steps:
• Pour 10 cl of white vinegar into the bowl with the spindle and leave it for 1 hour.
• Empty the bowl and wipe the inside with a sponge.
• Rinse the bowl several times with clean water.

Use a well wrung out sponge, then wipe with a dry cloth.
Warning: do not use the abrasive side of the sponge.
To clean the bowl:
• Open the appliance and fill the jug with 1.2 L of cold water from the tap (up to the MAX level). Do not add washing-up liquid to the jug.
• Put the top back on and plug it in.
• Press the "P4 - Easy cleaning" button, then press the "Start" button.
• The cleaning process will start: you will hear the motor for 15 seconds, then it will stop for 15 seconds and then start again. These cycles will continue for approx 3 minutes.
• When you hear the beep indicating the programme has finished, pull out the plug from the appliance and take off the lid.
• Empty the water and rinse inside the jug.

Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not place the motor unit or the jug under running water.
If necessary, once the appliance has cooled down, wash the blade under the tap and finish by cleaning the inside of the jug and the motor unit with a damp cloth.
If there are still stains on the inside of the jug, leave it to soak for a few hours in hot soapy water, then remove the residue with a plastic scourer. Rinse the bowl.

NOTE: The appliance is not designed to be cleaned in a dishwasher.
• Soak for 1 hour (water + washing-up liquid).
• Remove the deposit with a spatula or wooden spoon.
• After emptying the bowl, rub the bottom of the bowl with the abrasive side of the sponge.
• If traces remain, use a steel wool.

You can use lemon juice, white vinegar or a dishwasher tablet dissolved in water (let it work for the necessary time).
The bowl is not dishwasher safe. Do not immerse the bowl.
To clean the bowl properly, use a sponge with water and dishwashing liquid. You can use the abrasive side of the sponge.
The motor unit is not dishwasher safe. It must not be submerged.
To clean the motor unit properly:
• Hold it upright and slightly inclined.
• Use a sponge with water and washing-up liquid on the lower knife side.
• You can rinse the block under a stream of water, being very careful not to get water inside the electrical connector.
There is probably too much food, or some pieces are too big or too hard. You can reduce the size or amount of ingredients, or add some liquid.

Always use the blender with the lid or guard in place as indicated in the instructions.
Never put your hand in the blender jug when it is placed on the motor unit. If you need to push the food down, use a suitable tool, for example a spatula.
The appliance may not be on a flat, stable surface, the appliance is not stable.
The volume of ingredients to be blended is too high, reduce the quantity of ingredients.
If the vibrations persist, contact an approved repair centre.
After following the instructions in the user manual for starting the appliance, make sure that your electrical socket is working by plugging another appliance. If it still does not work, do not try to dismantle or repair the appliance yourself, instead, take it to an approved repair centre
Do not use your appliance. To avoid any danger, have it replaced by an approved repair centre.
The overflow sensor has triggered the safety, there are 2 possibilities:
1) The liquid quantity is higher than the maximum level. In this case, reduce the amount of ingredients.
2) The sensor is dirty, it is necessary to clean it before restarting the program.
This phenomenon is normal, the steam is released between the engine block which is waterproof and the bowl so that the assembly does not build up pressure.
Sometimes a few drops may form on the work surface due to condensation.
If you have opened the device during the cooking process for a soup recipe, for example, it is imperative to check that there is enough water left.
Complete if necessary, close the device and restart the automatic program.

If you have opened the device during mixing and the result is not satisfactory, close the device and run a "Smoothie" program.
This is a temporary phenomenon, which has no effect on the lifetime of your device. It will fade or disappear after some use and cleaning (see "Cleaning the appliance").
Your appliance contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. Leave it at a local civic waste collection point.
