Would you add these ingredients to your Hummus?

Served with lamb chunks, vegetables or crackers, hummus is very much popular for its creamy and delicious texture that blends well with almost everything. Traditional hummus gets an added dose of nutrients with addition of several vegetables, and an extra pop of color too!

Avocado Hummus

Avocado hummus is very easy to make especially in a high speed blender! Just combine 400g of boiled chickpeas, 1 ripe avocado, 1 garlic clove, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 2 tbsp tahini. Add olive oil and season with salt, pepper and cumin. Blend until you get a creamy texture.

Beetroot Hummus

Beetroot hummus serves as a delicious dip to chips or as a regular sandwich spread. Blend one roasted beetroot in Ultrablend + until smooth. Add mostly drained 400g boiled chickpeas, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tbsp tahini and ¼ cup olive oil. Season with salt and pepper, then blend until creamy.

Pesto Hummus

Pesto hummus tastes delicious as a side to lamb chunks or raw vegetables! In your high speed blender, combine 400g rinsed and drained boiled chickpeas, 2 ½ tbsp chopped fresh basil leaves, ½ tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp tahini, 1 garlic clove and 1 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and blend until combined.
