4 easy samosas fillings you should try
Samosas are the first to disappear off the table. If you’re hosting a simple dinner or a festive iftar, try one (or all) of these 4 easy to make fillings that will leave your guests wanting more.
3 Cheeses filling
In Masterchef 8000 food processor, pulse 6 cups of mozzarella cheese with 1 cup of cream cheese and 3 tbsp of feta until combined. Add a spoonful of filling to your samosa dough and seal well. Shallow fry for few minutes on each side until samosas are crispy.
Spicy meat filling
Chop 3 onions in your food processor. Transfer to a bowl then pulse 500g of your favorite meat until smooth. Heat 4 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté onions for 1 minute then add 1 tsp of salt, 1½ tsp of chili pepper, 1 tsp of cumin, 2 tsp of coriander and 1 tsp of turmeric. Add meat, then cook for 20 minutes until ingredients are combined.
Sour spinach filling
In the food processor, pulse 500g of spinach with 1 large tomato, 1 tbsp of sumac, the juice of ½ a lemon, 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 medium onion until you get the desired consistency. Season with salt and black pepper.
Sweet and nutty banana chocolate filling
In your food processor, pulse 1 cup of walnuts. Transfer to a bowl and mix with 2 large mashed bananas and ½ cup of chocolate spread.
