The Best Chocolate Soufflé Recipe


For 6 people

  • ‎113 g unsalted butter, at room temperature‎
  • ‎100 g white sugar‎
  • ‎2 eggs, at room temperature‎
  • ‎50 g all-purpose flour
  • ‎50 g cocoa‎
  • ‎1 tsp baking powder‎
  • ‎¼ tsp salt‎
  • ‎1/3 cup warm milk‎
  • ‎1 tsp vanilla extract‎
  • ‎½ tsp instant coffee‎
  • ‎½ cup chocolate shavings‎


Sift flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt in a bowl.‎

Melt coffee and vanilla extract in warm milk and leave aside.‎

Preheat oven to 1800C and grease 4 ramekins with butter and sprinkle with white sugar.‎

Put butter, eggs and sugar in ULTRABLEND +. Mix on speed 4 for 1 min until the ingredients are ‎combined.‎

Add half of the flour mixture and mix at speed 4 for 45 secs. Pour milk mixture and mix at speed 4 ‎for 30 secs. Add remaining flour mixture and mix at the same speed for 1 min.‎

Distribute mixture equally in ramekins and arrange them in a baking sheet filled with some water. ‎Bake for 45-50 min.‎

Remove baking sheet from oven, leave to cool at room temperature then garnish with chocolate ‎shavings and serve.‎
