Muhammara Recipe


For 4 people

  • ‎4 medium-sized bell peppers
  • ‎1/3 cup walnuts‎
  • ‎2 tbsp pomegranate molasses‎
  • ‎½ tsp chili powder
  • ‎1 tsp cumin‎
  • ‎1 tsp tomato paste
  • ‎1 tsp salt‎
  • ‎2 cloves garlic‎
  • ‎¼ cup bread crumbs‎
  • ‎1 tbsp olive oil‎
  • To garnish:‎
  • Olive oil – as desired
  • Pita bread – as desired


Core and deseed chili peppers then roast them in a pre-heated oven over ‎medium heat. Peel and leave aside to cool.‎

Roast walnuts in a non-stick pan over medium heat until browned.‎

In ULTRABLEND +, combine bell peppers, walnuts, pomegranate molasses, chili ‎powder, cumin, tomato paste, salt, garlic, breadcrumbs and oil.‎

Use the “Nuts” function until ingredients are combined.‎

Pour Muhammara in a serving dish and garnish with bread and olive oil.‎
