Easy Falafel Recipe

Ingredients

For 3 people

  • ‎2 cups chickpeas, canned
  • ‎1 cup parsley
  • ‎½ cup cilantro
  • ‎4 garlic cloves
  • ‎1 small-sized onion
  • ‎¼ cup flour
  • ‎1 tsp salt
  • ‎½ tsp black pepper‎
  • ‎1 tsp cumin‎
  • ‎1 tsp coriander‎
  • ‎1 tsp baking powder‎
  • ‎3 cups oil to fry

Instructions

Put chickpeas, parsley, cilantro, garlic and onion in ULTRABLEND +. Mix using “pulse” function ‎until combined.‎

Transfer mixture to a bowl. Add flour, salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander and baking powder. ‎Mix until well combined.‎

Preheat oil in a frying pan over high heat. ‎

Form falafel mixture into medium-sized balls and fry over medium-low heat until golden ‎brown. Serve immediately.‎
