Carrot Marble Cake Recipe


For 10 people

  • ‎400g peeled carrots
  • ‎½ cup sugar
  • ‎1¼ cups vegetable oil
  • ‎4 eggs
  • ‎2¼ cups multi-purpose flour
  • ‎¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ‎1 tsp baking powder
  • ‎½ tsp salt
  • ‎2 tbsp icing sugar for serving


Combine oil, eggs, carrots and sugar in ULTRABLEND +. Blend ingredients on speed 4 ‎until you get a smooth mixture.‎

Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add the carrots mixture and mix until ‎ingredients are just combined.‎

Pour half of the batter in a greased 20-cm cake pan.‎

Sift the cocoa powder over the other half of the cake batter and mix until you get a ‎homogeneous mixture. Pour mixture in the cake pan.‎

Using a fork, try to combine the batters until they slightly overlap. Bake the cake in a ‎pre-heated oven at 180⁰C for 25-30 min until done.‎

When cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve. ‎
