Best Katayef Recipe


For 10 people

  • ‎1 cup multi-purpose flour ‎
  • ‎1 tsp yeast‎
  • ‎1 tbsp semolina‎
  • ‎1 tbsp powder milk‎
  • ‎½ cup vegetable oil‎
  • ‎2 cups water‎
  • ‎1 tbsp sugar
  • ‎¼ tsp salt‎


Pour water and oil in ULTRABLEND +. Add flour, yeast, semolina, milk, sugar and salt.‎

Mix ingredients on speed 4 until you get a homogeneous mixture.‎

Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and pour in around 2 tbsp of the mixture; ‎wait until it’s well done from the bottom and dried at the top.‎

Place each Qatayef, browned side down, on a tea towel until cool so you can stuff ‎it.
