- Lukewarm water: ¼ cup
- Dry yeast: 1 tablespoon
- Sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Room temperature butter: 30 g
- Salt: 2 teaspoons
- Flour: 6 to 7 cups (850-900 g)
Combine yeast, water and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Allow mixture to sit for 15 minutes until foamy.
Pour the mixture in the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl and add the remaining sugar with the butter and salt.
Add each 140 g of flour separately, until you have soft dough.
Place the dough in a large greased bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to rise in a warm place.
Punch down the dough then divide it into 2 parts. Shape each part into a loaf and place in a pan.
Bake bread in a 190°C oven for 45 minutes until golden brown.
