Fruit tart with whipped cream
For 6 people
- Soft ready-made pie crust: 400 g
- Flour: 1/3 cup (50 g)
- Egg: 1
- Egg yolks: 2
- Sugar: 1 ½ cups (180 g)
- Milk: ½ liter (2 cups)
- Vanilla: 1 teaspoon
- Apricots: 4
- Plums: 4
Whisk the egg yolks with the whole egg and sugar in the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet bowl until you get a pale yellow and foamy mixture. Add sieved flour and mix all ingredients.
Add the vanilla, pour gradually the warm milk then heat over low heat from 6 to 8 minutes, until mixture is thick.
Allow the cream to cool. Meanwhile fit the ready-made pie crust in a 24 cm tart mold.
Press parchment paper on the tart shell and fill it with lentils.
Bake the tart in a preheated 200°C oven for 30 minutes then remove the parchment paper and lentils.
Beat the cream before pouring it into the tart shell then add chopped fruits and sprinkle with some castor sugar.
