Easy and quick orange cake recipe
For 6 people
- Flour - 2 cups
- Eggs - 4
- Sugar - 1 ½ cups
- Vegetable oil - ½ cup
- Baking powder - 2 ½ teaspoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Fresh orange juice - ½ cup
- Grated orange zest - 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- To garnish:
- Powdered sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Sliced orange - 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
In the Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl, mix together the eggs and sugar using the whisk until thick.
Gradually add the vegetable oil. Whisk in the flour, baking powder, salt and orange juice.
Mix the ingredients well using the beater then add the grated orange zest and vanilla.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for about 40 minutes.
Dust the cake with powdered sugar and garnish with orange slices.
