- Flour: 500 g
- Fresh yeast: 25 g
- Butter: ½ cup
- Sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Coarse sugar: 3 tablespoons
- Salt: 1 tablespoon
- Eggs: 3
Knead 150 g of flour with the yeast melted in warm water in the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl.
Put the dough in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and let rise for 50 minutes.
Add the remaining flour to the dough along with soft and sliced butter, salt, sugar and eggs.
Mix the ingredients in the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl until well combined then cover the dough and let rise in a warm place for an hour and a half.
Divide the dough into 3 pieces, and divide each part into long strips of equal length and thickness.
Wedge three strips together and braid them, then place on a tray and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise for 50 minutes.
Brush with egg yolks beaten with water and sprinkle the top with coarse sugar.
Bake in a preheated 200°C oven for 35 minutes.
