Baba ghanoush arabic bread
For 6 people
- Eggplants: 2
- Crushed garlic: 1 clove
- Tahini: 4 tablespoons
- Almonds: ¼ cup (32 g)
- Lemon juice: ½ lemon
- Cumin: ½ teaspoon (2 g)
- Dried mint: 2 tablespoons
- Bread: 4 loaves
- Fresh minced thyme: 3 tablespoons (36 g)
- Black sesame seeds: 3 tablespoons (36 g)
- Olive oil: 2/3 cups (145 g)
To prepare the bread, cut each loaf into 2 halves. Mix the thyme with the black sesame seeds and grind them.
Add the olive oil to the mixture then brush the bread with the sauce and roast it in the oven.
Cut each eggplant in half lengthwise and grill. Cover the slices for 10 minutes and let cool then peel the eggplants skin. Mince well and put in the strainer.
Drain the eggplants well then put in the Moulinex Masterchef Gourmet stainless steel bowl with the garlic, tahini, almonds, lemon juice, cumin and mint. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
Put the Baba Ghanoush in the serving dish and decorate with mint and olive oil. Serve with the bread.
